在平顶山上有一座巨大的猫猫之城，所有的猫猫都在里面生活。
“啊呦，三花猫妈啊，我听说你们家三花猫在金鼠洞捕鼠啊！”灰猫妈攀着三花猫妈的手。时不时用手抚摸三花猫妈的毛发。
“对啊！”三花猫妈得意的说着。
“唉，你家三花猫这么厉害，看看我们家灰猫，只在银鼠洞工作。”灰猫妈一边说着一边叹气。
“你们家灰猫可以呢”三花猫妈安慰灰猫妈。
“唉！”
灰猫妈叹完气，才提起她一早就注意到的事，指了指三花猫妈的猫腕：“你手上这金鼠尾漂亮啊，重不重？”
三花猫妈看了看金色的鼠尾炫耀的开口说道“我家三花猫给我买的。我都说了不要，他非要给我买。”
两个猫说着邻里的八卦。
“妈，我来提。”三花猫捕鼠归来，路过时看见了三花猫妈提着猫粮，于是走近开口。
三花猫接过猫粮，看着灰猫妈开口：“阿姨好。”
灰猫妈看着眼前的三花猫不禁叹息。
自己家的灰猫，毛色没人家三花猫好看，能力也不行，不在金鼠洞捕鼠，也不会心疼妈妈。
灰猫妈看三花猫越满意，就看自己灰猫越不顺眼。
灰猫妈告别二人后，独自抬着猫粮回到家里。
看着灰猫爸躺在沙发上吸着烟，气不打一处来。
人家三花猫爸一把年纪还出去捕鼠，虽然是在破鼠洞捕鼠。
而灰猫爸说自己老了，捕不动了，指望着比自己年轻两岁的灰猫妈捕鼠，而灰猫爸不是躺在沙发上吸着花草放松就是睡觉。
灰猫妈在两个猫盆里放好新鲜的猫粮，在另外两个猫盆里放着昨天吃剩的猫粮。
做好之后灰猫妈也躺在沙发上，不过灰猫妈并没有吸也没有睡觉，就是单纯的躺着，等着灰猫和灰猫弟回家。
灰猫弟在一个普通的猫猫小学学习。
在猫猫之城的小猫咪都会上小学，中学，大学。
每个阶段的学校有好有坏，在好的猫猫学校学习有两个途径，一是用老鼠打通关系，二是捕鼠的能力。
而灰猫一家是不可能走第一个途径的。毕竟他们住在破猫屋里。
在猫猫之城有三种房子。
金猫屋——捕鼠能力和老鼠数量的象征，只有最优秀的猫猫才能住在里面。
银猫屋，略逊金猫屋。是中等能力的象征。
而破猫屋，可想而知了。
住猫屋的条件是每年家里的老鼠数量决定的。
哗啦，砰。两声开关门的声音在房子里响起。
灰猫回来了。
灰猫放好自己的包包，脱了鞋子，走进客厅。
对于灰猫爸妈都躺在沙发上，她一点儿也不意外。
她把自己买的水果拿出来，放在盘里清洗。
清洗好后，她将水果放到桌上，自己拿了一个吃了起来。
灰猫妈歇了一会儿，就看到灰猫买的水果，拿了一个吃着，缓缓开口：“你就知道买一些没用的东西，你看看人家三花猫，给她妈妈买了金鼠尾，你也不知道给我买一个金鼠尾……”
听着灰猫妈的唠叨，灰猫沉默不语。就这样默默听着，她千疮百孔的心脏不会再被这些给伤着。
灰猫是幼猫的时候不知道，为什么在猫猫之城里会有这样的猫，但是她已经长大了，她发现比这种坏的猫，多着呢。
猫猫之城看着阳光，但在照不到的地方已经被黑暗侵蚀。
哗啦，砰。两声开关门的声音，灰猫弟回来了。
灰猫弟放下书包后，一家四口猫，都坐在桌上，吃着饭。
灰猫看着自己和弟弟碗里的新鲜猫粮，看着爸妈碗里的隔夜猫粮。
灰猫爸妈的头上突然顶着一顶“自我牺牲”的帽子，对灰猫和灰猫弟弟进行各种要求，必须要捕鼠能力强，必须要毛色漂亮，必须要成为别人眼中的“好猫猫”。
当灰猫头顶炸毛时，他们会说这个毛发很丑
当灰猫穿着短款的上衣时，他们会说猫猫该有猫猫的样子，这样像什么样子。
当灰猫出去捕鼠时，他们会逢人就说天天躺在家里玩手机还不如出来上班。
当灰猫暑假在家，长胖的时候，他们会自认为“开玩笑的”说腿粗了，你不觉得你走路变重了吗？
当灰猫考上了一所银大学后，会说你当初为什么不努力一点，为什么人家都能上金大学？。
